Chris Woods was born in New Brunswick, Canada in 1970. He has lived in Chilliwack B.C. for many years and is primarily a self-taught artist.
Woods examines the subtle effects of consumerism on the individual and on society. His depictions of suburban locales and the people who live in them — many of them life-long friends — are infused with both parody and mysticism.
