The Farris Award for Art and Social Media is presented to an Emily Carr University of Art and Design undergraduate or graduate student whose work excels in the area of Art and Social Media. The artist is selected by the ECUAD Grad Jury based on the student’s work in the annual graduation exhibition.
The Friends of Sculpture Award: Scholarships in amounts determined annually are made available by the Friends of Emily Carr and are awarded to students showing exceptional dedication and promise.
Diane Farris and the Diane Farris Gallery have a long-standing association with Emily Carr and its alumni. From the gallery’s inception in 1984, Diane Farris has launched and nurtured the careers of countless emerging artists – a great many of whom attended Emily Carr.
